I was, after a hard days work, watering my throat with some fine Gallante Ale at a local Minmatar Mining Base and once more did i hear the tales of the Jovan. I waved the little ones, they must not be over the age of 17, to my table.
I told them a tale....
On one of those dead silent nights.. hard to tell the darkness from the light in space without the trusted timeteller by my side..i was running along the boarders of minmatar space, staying away from the law as my cargo was nothing but illegal goods. What can one say, it is my calling. I came across an asteroid belt, it was empty as always but in the back of my neck the hair did rise. I knew something was there, something was waiting like the grim reaper himself. I took a while, another, and once more did i scan the asteroid belt, but alas..nothing was there.
I felt like someone was dancing on my clonepod when i forced my hand to accelerate my ship. It was the eeriest feeling i have ever felt. The silence of the Communicator was almost too silent. Noone was speaking and i tapped the Com to make sure it was on. Green light. Everything was fine...or so i thought. The space seemed darker, almost like a mist had fallen over a field and even the distant glow of the sun seemed colder. Then it happened...
Every single warning light on my HUD flared red, the whole ship began to shake and for a while i thought this was it, this was the end of Captain Jack Sparrow..just like my grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-...anyway REAL-grand- father had died one day. The ship shook, the glass of fine rum falling on the*****pit floor and in the middle of all the commosion i saw it. I swear to the graves of all my past fathers it was the scariest thing that ever has sailed the galaxy. Dark as the shadows of the night it floated there, darkening the stars with it's pitchblack hull..but for a mere second or two before another wave of shock hit my ship and i fell to the floor.
Last thing that i saw was some kind of a wormhole, closing away and only a mere starsized light in the distance. And all wass quiet once more. Only a few red lights flashing to tell me it happened. I do not know to this day what it was, where it came from and where it went. I do not know if it was the Jovan, but this i can tell you...it was not the makings of Caldari..nor the Minmatar...not the Amarr and not the Gallante. The great maker himself only knows.
